Woe to every scorner and mocker

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter.
Urdu
بڑی خرابی ہے ہر ایسے شخص کی جو عیب ٹٹولنے واﻻ غیبت کرنے واﻻ ہو

Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.

Who has gathered wealth and counted it,

جو مال کو جمع کرتا جائے اور گنتا جائے

He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
Muhsin Khan
He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever!

وه سمجھتا ہے کہ اس کا مال اس کے پاس سدا رہے گا

No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
Muhsin Khan
Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire.

ہرگز نہیں یہ تو ضرور توڑ پھوڑ دینے والی آگ میں پھینک دیا جائے گا

And what can make you know what is the Crusher?

And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is?

اور تجھے کیا معلوم کہ ایسی آگ کیا ہوگی؟

It is the fire of Allah , [eternally] fueled,

The fire of Allah, kindled,

وه اللہ تعالیٰ کی سلگائی ہوئی آگ ہوگی

Which mounts directed at the hearts.

Which leaps up over the hearts,

جو دلوں پر چڑھتی چلی جائے گی

Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them

Verily, it shall be closed in on them,

وہ ان پر ہر طرف سے بند کی ہوئی ہوگی
