Surat Az-Zalzalah (The Earthquake) - سورة الزلزلة

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

99:1
Sahih International
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
Muhsin Khan
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake.
Pickthall
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake
Yusuf Ali
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,
French
Quand la terre tremblera d'un violent tremblement,
99:2
Sahih International
And the earth discharges its burdens
Muhsin Khan
And when the earth throws out its burdens,
Pickthall
And Earth yieldeth up her burdens,
Yusuf Ali
And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),
French
et que la terre fera sortir ses fardeaux ,
99:3
Sahih International
And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -
Muhsin Khan
And man will say: "What is the matter with it?"
Pickthall
And man saith: What aileth her?
Yusuf Ali
And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'-
French
et que l'homme dira : "Qu'a-t-elle ? "
99:4
Sahih International
That Day, it will report its news

That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil).
Pickthall
That day she will relate her chronicles,
Yusuf Ali
On that Day will she declare her tidings:
French
ce jour-là, elle contera son histoire,
99:5
Sahih International
Because your Lord has commanded it.
Muhsin Khan
Because your Lord has inspired it.
Pickthall
Because thy Lord inspireth her.
Yusuf Ali
For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.
French
selon ce que ton Seigneur lui aura révélé [ordonné].
99:6
Sahih International
That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
Muhsin Khan
That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds.
Pickthall
That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds.
Yusuf Ali
On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).
French
Ce jour-là, les gens sortiront séparément pour que leur soient montrées leurs oeuvres.
99:7
Sahih International
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,
Muhsin Khan
So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.
Pickthall
And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then,
Yusuf Ali
Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!
French
Quiconque fait un bien fût-ce du poids d'un atome, le verra,
99:8
Sahih International
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
Muhsin Khan
And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.
Pickthall
And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then.
Yusuf Ali
And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.
French
et quiconque fait un mal fût-ce du poids d'un atome, le verra.
