Surat Al-'Anbyā'
Sahih International
... them do not know the truth, so they are turning away ... Muhsin Khan
Or have they taken for worship (other) aliha (gods) besides Him? Say: "Bring your proof:" This (the Quran) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse.
Pickthall
Or have they chosen other gods beside Him? say: Bring your proof (of their godhead). This is the Reminder of those with me and those before me, but most of them know not the Truth and so they are averse.Yusuf Ali

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"Muhsin Khan
And they say: "When will this promise (come to pass), if you are truthful."

And they say: When will this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful?Yusuf Ali
They say: "When will this promise come to pass, if ye are telling the truth?"Shakir

They said, "Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?"Muhsin Khan

Sahih International
That is because Allah is the Truth and because He gives life to the dead and because He is over all things competentMuhsin Khan

Sahih International
That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand.Muhsin Khan
That is because Allah He is the Truth (the only True God of all that exists, Who has no partners or rivals with Him), and what they (the polytheists) invoke besides Him, it is Batil (falsehood) And verily, Allah He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Shakir
That is because Allah is the Truth, and that what they call upon besides Him-- that is the falsehood, and because Allah is the High, the Great.Dr. Ghali

Surat Al-Mu'minūn

So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people.Dr. Ghali

And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged.Muhsin Khan

Or do they say, "In him is madness?" Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse.Sahih International
Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth.

Or say they: There is a madness in him? Nay, but he bringeth them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth.Pickthall
Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth.Yusuf Ali

But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away.Muhsin Khan
And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder.

And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away.Yusuf Ali
If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition.Shakir
And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside.Dr. Ghali
And if the Truth ever followed their prejudices, the heavens and the earth and whoever is therein would indeed have been corrupted. They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?"

Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars.Muhsin Khan
Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars.

So exalted is Allah , the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.Dr. Ghali

Surat An-Nūr
Sahih International
And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves - then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful.Muhsin Khan
And for those who accuse their wives, but have no witnesses except themselves, let the testimony of one of them be four testimonies (i.e. testifies four times) by Allah that he is one of those who speak the truth.

As for those who accuse their wives but have no witnesses except themselves; let the testimony of one of them be four testimonies, (swearing) by Allah that he is of those who speak the truth;Yusuf Ali
And for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own,- their solitary evidence (can be received) if they bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth;Shakir

And the fifth [oath will be] that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he was of the truthful.Muhsin Khan
And the fifth (testimony) should be that the Wrath of Allah be upon her if he (her husband) speaks the truth.

And a fifth (time) that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he speaketh truth.Yusuf Ali
And the fifth (oath) should be that she solemnly invokes the wrath of Allah on herself if (her accuser) is telling the truth.Shakir
