Surat Al-'A`rāf
Yusuf Ali
If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.Found in: Yusuf Ali

[Who is] obligated not to say about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with clear evidence from your Lord, so send with me the Children of Israel."Muhsin Khan

[Pharaoh] said, "If you have come with a sign, then bring it forth, if you should be of the truthful."Muhsin Khan
[Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "If you have come with a sign, show it forth, - if you are one of those who tell the truth."

(Pharaoh) said: If thou comest with a token, then produce it, if thou art of those who speak the truth.Yusuf Ali

Indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides Allah are servants like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful.Muhsin Khan
Verily, those whom you call upon besides Allah are slaves like you. So call upon them and let them answer you if you are truthful.

Surat Al-'Anfāl
Muhsin Khan
It is they who are the believers in truth. For them are grades of dignity with their Lord, and Forgiveness and a generous provision (Paradise).
Pickthall
Those are they who are in truth believers. For them are grades (of honour) with their Lord, and pardon, and a bountiful provision.Yusuf Ali

And [remember] when they said, "O Allah , if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment."Muhsin Khan
