Surat Al-Qāri`ah (The Calamity) - سورة القارعة
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Transliteration
Wama adraka ma alqariAAaSahih International
And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
Transliteration
Yawma yakoonu annasu kalfarashialmabthoothSahih International
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,
Transliteration
Watakoonu aljibalu kalAAihnialmanfooshSahih International
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
Transliteration
Faamma man thaqulat mawazeenuhSahih International
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
Transliteration
Fahuwa fee AAeeshatin radiyaSahih International
He will be in a pleasant life.
Transliteration
Waamma man khaffat mawazeenuhSahih International
But as for one whose scales are light,
